I will never shop there again, which I am smart enough to know, they could care less, but it will certainly make me feel better.

Great store for home decor and specialty items. Great for pillows and art but can be A bit pricey for furniture.

Clearly Ms. Perkins is an employee, the employee mentioned, or a friend of the employee mentioned. I find it rather telling that her review showed up the same day as my post providing there had been no previous reviews for years until I posted one then, voile', like magic another one , same day! I wish it should the time! I could care less about anyone else's experiences. I only KNOW what I SAW and HEARD on that day!

So my assessment of this situation is that Pottery Barn really does NOT care about its customers. Just the BOTTOM LINE! $$$$$$

While the prices can be rather higher than most stores, I love the items available in Pottery Barn and the quality...for the most part. This location though is hard to handle. The most smug and stuck up group of women are always working in this store and run up to harass you immediately. You can't even walk the store with items in your hand because they're competing for commission I suppose and demand that they'll hold your item behind the counter. Heaven forbid you walk in this store and look like you don't have tons of money, browse through the clearance items only or voice to them you're not interested in spending too much money...they'll treat you like the scum of the earth. It's real funny though, most these women working here act like stuck up rich women when in reality I assume they're older women probably drawing social security and working a part time job while vicariously living through the rich women that do frequent Pottery Barn. The manager needs to hire more cordial and personable staff.

On Friday the 26thh of December I called Pottery Barn Hdqtrs and voiced a complaint. I received a voice mail on Saturday morning from the District Manager who said she was really sorry about what happened and the store manager had already informed her of this incident. I couldn't help but laugh.

I was in Pottery Barn at Hanes Mall Blvd. around 4pm on Christmas Eve. As I was casually making my way to the back of the store about half way there I suddenly hear this yelling ! At first, I was scared to death that there may have been a lunatic on the loose. Several women in the store looked as horrified as I must have and quickly made their exit. I, slowly made my way up to the front and as I peeked around the corner to see what was going on, I see and hear two employees, one of whom I assumed was the manager on duty, yelling at two customers, a husband and wife about a $300 difference regarding something they had purchased. The "manager" would not let this man or woman hardly speak before she was hautely yelling to them there was NOTHING she could do about it. The woman pleaded with her to let her speak and she cut her off at every turn! I was mortified!!!! I could no longer take it w/o speaking up myself so I went to the counter and said to the "manager", "Your behavior and attitude toward your customers is highly unacceptable and rude." She replied back to me rather sternly, "I was NOT being rude!" I said. " you absolutely were and are and if that is the way Pottery Barn treats their customers, then I can guarantee I will never step another foot in this store ever again and will cancel my account." She smugly replied. "Well, I'm sorry you feel that way." I left the store and the couple followed close behind. When they got outside of the store, the woman with tears in her eyes thanked me for taking a stand and said they had just spent about $10,000.00 with them and were trying to fix a $300 discrepancy!! Never in my life have I witnessed such venom, rudeness and total lack of respect for a customer anywhere!!!!

I would have to, fire insurance!! On Monday, Dec.29, I got a phone call from Sandu Hudson, District manager of this store, who once again said how sorry she was and tried to tell me how sweet and nice the manager was normally and blah, blah, blah.
