Quality Furniture. Great Customer Service! I have spent over $10,000 at Haverty's. They stand behind their product and their customers.
In the past year I have ordered over $10,000 in Furniture. I ordered two full bedroom suites that were beautiful and delivered with truly Top Shelf delivery and customer service. BUT recently order a full living room suite of couch, two recliners with auto recline and 3 end tables and a custom rug. I ordered at the end of March. Just received the couch last week 1st of May. The delivery was no where within the window, no phone call, I lost the whole days work, the delivery guys didn't even unpack the couch and tables! I had to unpack and haul off the boxes. Haverty's is refunding the delivery charge...but I was still very put off. The rug is over $1000 and still isn't here and noone can give me an estimate of when. I have been on hold now for a while. It is highly unlikely that I will purchase from them again. So sad.
My experience with this Havertys is disappointing, though the sales rep who helped us was kind. We bought a Hadley sofa last summer but the buttons on the sofa fall off a total of 3 times. They sent a technician over to fix it the first 2 times as it was under warranty. With the third time, they gave us 20 days to come back to the store to pick out another sofa to replace it. We only liked one other sofa in the store but it was $1000 more than what we paid for our first sofa and they expected us to pay the whole difference without offering any discounts for the inconvenience. Finally, I requested a full refund which the manager agreed to. I'm thinking it would have made more sense for them to let us pick another sofa and foot part of the difference rather than lose the whole sale... and lose us as customers permanently. They don't understand how to do business it seems.

Very poor experience with Havertys. We ordered a sofa and set a delivery date. They called to confirm the day before but the supposed day of delivery nothing arrived. They did not contact me. After calling them when the delivery window was over they said they had trouble getting the sofa from their supplier. We arranged a second delivery date which came and went and I still did not receive my sofa. They did not call or offer compensation of any kind for missing my delivery a second time. I resent taking time off work to be here for deliveries that don't happen. We had ordered a rug at the same time as the sofa but it was backordered which I understood. When the rug was delivered we asked the deliverymen to remove their shoes since this was a new house and we did not want mud tracked in from all the rain. One of the guys refused to remove his shoes. We offered him shoe guards instead which he also refused saying that he wore a size 14 shoe and they would not fit. Instead he put down some grimy pads and walked on those. I am not pleased and I will not order from Havertys again based on this experience. They do not seem to value customers.
