I saw Charlie Daniels here in concert. What an awesome experience it was. At 80 years old the man can still rock and roll! Seating was a little snug in the floor area, so I would recommend a higher seat in the stands next time. The Acoustics was very good and all entrance in and out of the building was not difficult at all. Parking was reasonable at $10 for the event. Recommended from anywhere. ~V.
Went for a Winston-Salem Thunderbirds hockey game. The food was reasonably priced and the venue was fun.
Older venue. .,.has been well kept. ...traffic can be challenging depending on the event. ...this part of Winston Salem is becoming more and more about the local college community. .
Good ATT service. Sites very close, elect not. FHU for all sites. Showers outdated.
Ice is decent, bathrooms are so so, concessions are good, but not great. Locker rooms I've heard are small but not terrible. Seating is standard for an arena, and the sight lines for hockey are very good, as long as you're not in the first row behind the penalty boxes. Rental skates are trash, but I deduct no points because they're all trash at any rink you go to. Solid 8/10
