Well my lease is for six months because I am a college student and I am graduating in December. I had to find me an apartment and I came here. I read some of the reviews about the staff and Julius but so far I haven't had a problem and I have dealt with them plenty of times since I've been here. When I first moved in my Alarm System was not working and It was the weekend so I could not get it fixed but Monday morning when I told the staff my alarm was not working the maintenance man came the same day and fixed it. I pray I don't have any problems when I move out but right now I am pretty okay and I am happy to live here. As for the security gates they have been working well. They open up at 8am and they stay open until 5pm after that it closes.
I enjoyed living at Legacy Park for 2+ years, but for some reason they try to keep the property owner a secret. Whenever there is an issue, they tell you that there is no owner & you're limited to the staff in the office (who can tell you anything)There's too much turnover within the office which seems to be very odd. For the amount of rent you pay every month you would expect for them to keep the security gate fixed at all times! Expect the rent to be increased every year.
I lived in Legacy Park for 9 months and I left due to job relocation. I gave notice of my departure and paid my rent up for the following three months. When I left the apartment I had no balance and left on great terms, I thought. A year and a half later I see a collection of $55 on my credit from Legacy Park which I had no prior knowledge about. When i called the office i was told it was regarding water and sewage (which was included in the rent )and he could not explain why no one from their office had tried to inform me of the $55 balance before sending it to credit bureau. I would have simply paid the amount if I was aware I owed a balance. Now this is on my credit and even though I will pay it it has affected my credit score.
Very nice View and a quiet area. Near Hanes mall and forsyth hospital. Convenient for the hospital president and fellows five minutes of the drive. Friendly staff. Recommended
Apartments are nice however, carpets were in poor condition when I moved in. I had several problems with management over the 3.5 years I lived there. Quiet time is supposedly between 10a-10p, however they will come by with a loud blower every Wed morning at 8a. This is very unfortunate for people who work odd shifts. I also had a very nice car that the landscaping company would regularly blow grass and dirt on as they were mowing...they would also trim the edges and wet red clay dirt would fly up all over my car. I complained to management (Julius)..nothing was done. So it doesn't matter if you took 8hrs to clean your car, it will be sprayed with sand/clay/grass over the next few days. I also had them place a giant orange tow sticker on my car because it was "violating the rules". I had not had a chance to put my new registration sticker on my car yet and I don't drive it very often, registration was on the counter in my kitchen...a simple phone call or paper warning would have been nice prior to having to go out there and spend 1 hr with goo gone and a razor blade. I also paid a non-refundable pet fee/deposit of $250 in understanding that extra treatments would have to be made in between changing over the apartments when there has been pets in there. No problem. However when I left the office staff told me not to worry about shampooing them, that they would handle that and that it had been several years since they had been replaced...so they probably wouldn't even bother cleaning them since it was time to replace them. However, I got a nice $50 extra tagged on to my final bill for pet charge. Makes me wonder what kind of crap I had potentially been stepping on prior to me moving in if they just cleaned my carpets after they were nasty before I even moved in. This was potentially 6-8 years of who knows what. Neighbor below would beat on the ceiling if you walked loudly or anytime my 5# Chihuahua jumped from the couch to the floor. Also when my niece came to visit. She harassed me multiple times as we crossed each others paths about the loud noise...I sure hope the next person after me is a very quiet robot that is very light footed. Shouldn't live in an apt complex if your worried about the noise above you...that should be an understanding of living in an apartment. Walls are thin...heard all kinds of noises, babies crying, arguing, fighting of various neighbors around. Just comes with living in an apartment. Also, very few people pick up after their pets so please use caution...lots of dog turd land mines in all of the grassy areas, even though there are bags provided. Overall, I think management could have dealt with all of these problems differently and for some reason he doesn't care. Hope this raises awareness of the complex that that you may be moving into.
