Only good for meetings. Can nor bring in outside food or drinks. If you do, you have to go through them to do so and the price is outrageous!!! Also there are no vending or drink machines in the building. Plus you have to pay for parking. This place will nickle and dime you to death. Also if you complain about it being to hot inside they will spend the next two days trying to freeze you to death. Worse place I have ever attended a conference.
A very spacious place with some interesting artwork. I would like to see more African American artwork in the Maya Angelou section.
The recent renovations have made a much bigger difference than I expected. Lots of natural light now, and the decor is definitely "friendlier." Excellent downtown location, ample parking in the attached garage and plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance.
A fantastic convention center right in the heart of downtown Winston Salem, NC. Great accommodations nearby as well as wonderful dining all within walking distance. Parking deck across the street with reasonable fees. Lots of room in the convention center and the recent renovations are stupendous.
The Benton Convention Center was perfect for our conference. The facility was very nice and spacious. It is conveniently located in downtown Winston Salem, and is within walking distance of a lot of great places to eat, as well as the art district.
