If you like poor customer service this is the place for you and your dog.
It's a good vet. Wish we could see the same veterinarian each visit.
The service at the office is great, my dog loves going to see her vet.
In addition, they have provided excellent boarding care on the occasions of our travels.
Of note, this is one of the more expensive options for Veterinary Care and they will provide a lot of care (which translates to lots of money). It's ok, but just be prepared.
I used to use this place for weekend boarding services, and they were fantastic! Then I assume management changed, and that's when I noticed the differences in service. First I was charged for an additional night of boarding (that was corrected and credited to the next time I boarded). Then I was charged for a comprehensive exam even though my pet had just had a comprehensive exam at his regular vet with all of his updated vaccines (that was corrected after I provided them AGAIN with his paperwork). Then I was told my pet needed a vaccine booster to be boarded there because it "was policy" and they'd be happy to provide it to my pet but would be charged an exam fee and a vaccine booster fee. That did it for me! I've been taking my pet to Abri Veterinary Hospital for boarding ever since. They're great! Just wish they had Sunday pick-up hours like VCA, but we deal with it.
Have had 2 cats taken care of here over the past 16 years. They have always been compassionate and caring in the medical care of our cats. When our first cat passed away at the emergency vet (reviewed elsewhere), our regular veterinarian sent a very nice consolation note to us. Over and above the required. Hence, 5 stars!
Back at home office however they will constantly run your card whenever they feel it's convenient, sometimes twice in on e billing period. When you call to discuss this they scoff on the phone at you and treat you very poorly. It's almost impossible to work with them financially.
