As my cycle was ending another mother and son sat down. I stood back and watched the same manager turn both chairs on for the other mother and son. While they were trying out the chairs I struck up a conversation and asked generic questions about sports and school only to find out the other boy was 13 also. Our children were the same age, same grade, the only difference was the attitude of the manager. When I confronted her she told me that minors could only use the chairs when the store wasn't busy. When I sat down NO ONE was seated except my son and I. She was not apologetic at all. I will not shop with Brookstone again, especially in Winston-Salem, NC. I do have photos of said manager if requested.
Management was extremely rude to my 13 year old son. He wanted to try one of the massage chairs along side me for 1 cycle. The manager told him to get up that the chairs were for adults only. She was so forceful and degrading my son felt he had done something wrong. He has sat in the chairs alongside me for YEARS without any comments. Store employees always start the chairs for him just like they do for me.
My family and I went to this store today for the very first time to find something that would work for my mother in law who has MS. The store manager was very helpful. He not only showed us the options that were available, but he also did a demonstration of each. He was personable, patient and very professional. My children even enjoyed being in the store. Thank you for being kind. We will definitely be back.
The employee that help me was very rude. She was not helpful at all. I forgot the name of the product I was looking for. I proceeded to describe the product to her not a good idea. She acted as though she never heard of product of that type before. The product I was looking for was right behind me. I was better off looking for it myself. I believe I run into the same mean employee as Caroline did. She act like God did not give people ears to hear. As she walk off she said something I won't care to rewrite. What happen to Caroline is pretty much what happen to me.
