When we explained our situation she let us know that they were not able to fulfill our request.
This store has consistently disappointed us. Not only were there constant communication problems between service reps and the managers, but they were also incredibly rude to us when we confronted them with our disappointment.

We have gone through several different pairs of Sanitas that have broke and needed repair or replacement. Sanitas will only do these types of orders through the retailer so we had to get this done through the Birkenstock store.
Disappointed, we let her know that we were very unhappy with the service. Then one of the customer reps blurted in to try and defend his actions and the manager let him continue AND DEFENDED HIM AS WELL. She (The manager) made no attempt to console us or make the situation right as most basic customer service employees would.
Agree with the other reviews, customer service is not good! When I was originally sold my shoes, the guy running the floor was very unattentive and I ended up getting the wrong size because of it. Still waiting to see if they will let me return.. Only one of the five workers I have talked to has been helpful. Disappointing.
Never have I seen a store and its manager project such apathy towards customer concerns. It shows that the store is run sloppily and lazily. There is no care given to the customers. Everyone's showing up for a paycheck. Needless to say, we will be shopping elsewhere from now on and would never recommend the store to anyone.
I don't know of many businesses where the manager cannot equip their employees to handle basic customer requests like this. But in any case, we obliged them and came on a day when the manager was present.
The customer service reps were incapable of handling this request. They were either ignorant on how to process this order or were giving us conflicting information. The common refrain was "Talk to our manager when she is here," rather than help us. We felt brushed aside and not valued.
Terrible customer service. They were out of stock of the size Birkenstocks I was interested in purchasing and I was told to try a size up. They felt ok in store so I went with them as I was assured they could be returned within a month if they didn't work out as long as I didn't let them mold. I wore them for a week and my feet kept sliding around in them so I decided to return them. The lady that helped me initially wasn't there when I returned and the current employees informed me my shoes could not be returned as they didn't look brand new. I never would have gone ahead and bought them had I known it would have been a problem. Most places don't have such terrible return policies and I will never buy anything here again.
