I have lived on a Vista property twice. Both times the management and contracted maintenance staff have been above par. The rates are competitive, and by far, less expensive than comparable apartments in this area. I have never been turned down for a maintenance request, and all maintenance issues were fixed promptly and professionally. Vista is also a minority-owned company, doing business in a majority field. I have nothing but high regard for the ownership and management of this realty management company.
I haven't been living here long but I have no complaints at all...Management has been great, maintenance great...Love living at Lagrande...Great neighbors...
Don't follow their own contracts and don't make repairs like they are supposed to. Every year the rent rises by 10$. They don't mind taking your money, but the It repairman only half fixes anything.
If you love yourself/your family, don't live anywhere "managed" by Vista. This place is horrible! I would give it ZERO stars if I could. The management is consistently cruel and does very little to ensure their tenants' comfort and safety. There is no whiff of professionalism or courtesy; every time I call the office, someone new (and clueless/mean) answers. The only reason I am here is because on-campus housing didn't have room for me, but had I known they were going to be so ignorant and bereft of customer service skills and human standard maintenance, I would have slept outside. There is NO CARPET. When I moved in, the toilet wasn't working and had to be replaced. I lost food for weeks because the ancient refrigerator died, and it took endless complaints and calls to get it replaced. Since the weather has gotten colder, stinkbugs are trying to take over. The rent is raised constantly, but the quality never improves. I feared there was asbestos insulation in the attic (a cable installer knocked it down trying to get to another apartment), and they said they'd send someone from maintenance over to inspect the apartment. It NEVER happened. RUN!
