Yesterday, Friday, (9-29-17) my husband called to check on our vehicle that we dropped off on 9-22-17 (Friday) and wasn't told an exact time and then was hung up on. First of all, with 30 years of experience (as your website states) you should know how long it takes to replace engine mounts. Secondly, when my husband was hung up on for wanting an update after a week of no contact from T.T., that is very poor customer service (website states excellent customer service). I wasn't impressed and have been inconvenienced for a week now having to share one vehicle in our household.
With many chances to correct the issue at hand, Transmatic Transmission has failed and so here it is....I went to have my transmission looked at and repaired. Upon completion, I went to pick up my car and immediately recognized a strong smell of cigarette smoke. Regardless of how it got in there (leaving windows down, smoking in the car, etc.) that is just not ok and the woman I spoke with at the front desk agreed and expressed extreme disappointment in the team, but promptly told me just to spray Febreeze to mask the odor “for now.” I told her that would not work and it needed it to be deep cleaned. She told me I was probably right and she would be in contact with me on Monday around lunch time after she spoke with the owner (it was Friday). Monday comes and I called around 2:30 because I had not yet received a call. The same lady from before told me she was waiting on a call back from the car wash where she was making me an appointment and would be in touch soon. A week and a half passed and I called back and got the same excuse that she had not yet gotten in touch with the person she needed to speak with at the car wash and that she would be calling them as soon as we hung up and would call me right back. I’ve still yet to receive that call, my car smells like smoke and both of my children’s car seats, jackets, stuffed animals that were in the car smelled like smoke (of course they’ve been washed at this point). I have tried to get the smell out of my car myself but as soon as I feel like it’s gone, I get in it only to smell it again. I will pay for my car to get cleaned and leave this review here to warn others. There is no point in getting nasty and demand service. They should have done what they said they would. If the owner sees this and would like to contact me, I’d be happy to speak to that person because at this point, I’m not sure they’re aware of what’s going on. Giving 2 stars only because my transmission was repaired. Experience was terrible.
Best experience ever!!! Had to take my Jeep wrangler in for a rebuilt Transmission job. Transmatic was up front and honest with me from the start to the end, which is rare in the car repair business. I was able to talk the mechanic and see my transmission being rebuilt. They took GREAT care of my Jeep...Thank-You Transmatic.....
Absolutely LOVE THE PLACE AND EVERYONE THERE!!!! With also great customer service. Thank you transmatic transmission
Nothing but the best. Service was great and fast. I had my 67 delta 88 transmission rebuilt. It looks like new. My classic drives well and smooth. This is a fair and great place to receive transmission service.
