Accidents can happen, and while it did with us in our recent move, I am confident that our experience was more the rare exception than the rule. Still, it wouldn’t hurt to purchase the “full repair or replacement” protection plan, just in case your experience is among the exceptions. It’s worth the piece of mind.
Excellent experience. The packing crew had us all packed up with true care. No breakage. Fine job. Our loading crew came in the following morning and they too did a wonderful job. They were on time and worked very hard and with care!
So when we moved from our apartment into a our new home this year we didn’t hesitate to contact them. Again, they arrived 30 minutes early and worked hard.
Then it happened. An accident which damaged a precious sentimental piece. But we had wisely purchased the “full repair or replacement” protection plan. I immediately contacted the company and a supervisor arrived within 15 minutes. After gathering a few details he took the clock to begin the process.
GREAT JOB! ULTIMATELY GOOD RESPONSE TO AN ISSUE. This is revised review. My initial rating of them (low) was due not to the quality of their work, which was awesome, but to their handling of a claim for damage caused by an accident. While it took time, they were ultimately accommodating and fair in their response.
While the resolution did and will take some time, a lot of that was on the slowness of my response and due to some email filtering issues. They will be having an expert craftsman repair the piece and I look forward to having it restored to me in good condition.
American Moving and Hauling did a wonderful job moving us. Their movers were helpful and courteous. They carefully protected all of our furniture and fragile items. We would highly recommend them. The price was very reasonable.
Honestly, if not for the unfortunate mishap, this would have been one of the most glowing reviews I had ever written. I have adjusted my rating accordingly. Their crew works hard and how many moving companies consistently (at least in my experience) arrive EARLY!
We first used this company when relocating to the area last year. We hired them to help us quickly unload a rental truck we had packed with our belongings. The crew they sent was great and worked hard. They even arrived 30 minutes early.
These guys are wonderful. Every aspect of my move went well. The office staff was wonderful. The movers were so considerate and good natured. They took great care of my belongings, took very few breaks and were always smiling, all the way to the very end. My move was interstate and I had a large home. They worked long hours and very efficiently and never seemed to complain. I recommend them and would definitely use them again!
The guys were very nice and did a great job! They worked really quickly and efficiently and were very careful with everything. I got a 5% discount for paying in cash which was a really nice surprise. I will recommend to everyone!
