An enchanting palace with delightful service. On our last stay there, the bellhop drove my 3 year old daughter over the estate in his golf cart. She delighted in this experience. Thank you to Wake Forest for opening this estate to the public.
Beautiful old estate. Did not stay on the estate but was welcomed by the friendly staff as we explored on our own.
Beautiful place The landscaping and architecture provide a great place for romantic events. Their hotel rooms are lovely as well
The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. The 46,000 square foot home/ hotel was amazing and had so much history! We enjoyed walking around and looking at all the history and craftsmanship throughout the property. Dinner and breakfast was yummy. The beds in the gardeners cottage were comfortable and everything was very clean. We loved the huge towels as well....
The Graylyn has been on my list of must-visit places in North Carolina for years, and we recently made the trip from the Raleigh area. We had a wonderful weekend exploring and walking the estate, visiting other area attractions including the Reynolda House & Village, Old Salem, and Wake Forest University. Winston-Salem is a great small city with so much history. We had a great weekend!
