Called last night around 10:30 - 11pm and asked for new sheets to be sent to the room and the bed remade. The front desk agent was very rude when I called, stating that they did not offer housekeeping services that late but that I could "come down to the desk, get sheets, and do it myself." If I wanted to do it myself, I would have stayed at home. Most front desk agents should be cross trained for reasons like this, or you should at least have 1 housekeeping employee on site for instances such as these! Will never return and will tell everyone I know to avoid as well.
This is a good deal and it's really central for anyone doing sales oriented biz. Clean rooms an friendly staff. You can be downtown in less than 15 min...the way I drive
While this hotel has been upgraded nicely, the staff has not. Our room was clean and fine, but someone on our floor had been smoking. Breakfast was good, but during breakfast we witnessed several employees helping themselves to breakfast, with many times jumping in front of guests. Additionally the front desk clerk wasn't attentive and we had to stand there for several minutes and finally had to call for the attendant (who was busy watching netflix). Would I stay again? Yes, would I recommend it to friends? Nope!
The bed was extremely firm (HARD), the bathroom towels had blonde hair on them (my hair is black), and most importantly, the hotel was under renovations ( loud banging noises, strong fumes from the painting inside and out of my room and hallway, etc.) If I was aware of the renovations I would have never stayed here. I complained to the front desk staff. Was assured that he would open windows and put a fan in it to help with the fumes. I had to go back to the front desk to complain again but nothing was ever done. Had my plans to be in the area longer I would have checked into another establishment.
Extremely nice rooms and very comfortable bed. We were there for 2 nights in a king bed suite. 4th floor water pressure was excellent and bathrooms very clean, quiet and very good air conditioning. Front desk was very friendly and professional. The breakfast was not good. For hot food they had biscuits, gravy and eggs with some type of interesting mystery ingredients in the middle. Did not taste good but I was were hungry so unfolded the eggs and scraped the mystery from the inside. My wife still did not like the taste so we hit the fast food place that is 1/4 mile from the hotel. 4 stars because of the food.
