This hotel is run by moneygrubbing front desk managers and I don't see how their policy hasn't gotten them sued yet. I made a reservation the night of the 23rd of December and my phone screen cracked later that night. There was no way for me to get in contact with them to cancel because I had no map or GPS to drive 4 hours away to find a hotel in a city I'm not familiar with. I get a chance to look at my bank account and see a $130 charge with their name on it. I finally found a way to talk to them today, and was told that since I did not cancel 2 days prior, that they would charge me for holding the room, and whether I was able to cancel or not, they still would charge me plus a cancellation fee because the room was only $100 flat after taxes. The DAY after Christmas, people are like this? If I could rate it 0 stars, I would. I'm going to spread this everywhere I can online, until someone does something about this injustice. I just don't think it's right, and I'm sure many other people will see it the same way. I'm never going to stay at ANY properties owned by Marriott due to this bogus policy.
He explained all the hotel amenities and even helped with local dining suggestions.
My next trip to Winston-Salem I'll definitely be staying here.

I enjoyed our stay last night. Wish it was longer! We got a room at a really good price. I was beyond amazed when I walked in! The hotel was beautiful! Our room was so clean and the bathroom is one of the places I pay close attention too and it was so clean! Looked brand new, our whole room looked brand new! The linens smells amazingly clean! The room was just so comfortable! It was pretty quite the whole time we were there. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay was wonderful! We asked for early check in and they got right on our room to get us in a soon as possible! We had a issue with the fridge in the room and the lady at the desk took care of it in less then 30 mins. The breakfast was amazing! So much to choose from! Have to say this is one of the best stays I have had in a while! Definitely will be returning! Thank you!!!
Construction on adjacent property will limit some access. Hotel is clean, fashionable, well maintained. Breakfast on par. Weight room, indoor pool. Staff helpful and courteous, no major issues the night we stayed.
This was my first trip to North Carolina and I didn't know what to expect. Upon arrival the attendant at the front desk was very kind and courteous, which quickly started to put my mind at ease.
The rooms are nice. They have a partially sectioned off area for beds so they are separate from the sitting area. Offering that little bit of privacy. The breakfast has been great, a decent variety of options, and high quality. The indoor pool is great and should you choose to use it the exercise room is kitted out rather well. It's right by a bunch of restaurants and across from some stores.
Everything was pleasant except for the people "SCREWING" all loud next door last night.
