Great place. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and quiet. Highly recommend. Just be very careful if you walk downtown.
Very nice staff and very nice looking hotel. The suite I had was very large with great big windows. The bed was comfy. The breakfast was very good and also the evening social hour was nice. My only thing was there were wet washcloths left in the bathroom upon my arrival. I think the staff didn't see them where they were out, overall the room was very clean.
The shower adjustment ring screwed off before I was able to turn it to a new setting. Do not expect we'll maintained facilities. The bar does not serve more than two drinks since "it's against NC law" although it's not. Overall a nice looking hotel but don't expect anything more than skin deep.
Check in was amazing, bell service was super nice and helpful. Room was ok- for $337/ night it's dirty and not updated. Phone only called front desk so couldn't order room service... from either room. Ran out of wine ordered, and they replaced without consulting. Also didn't bring any condiments with meal (no ketchup, steak sauce). All in all very disappointing. We've been staying in this same hotel since 2004 and its never improved. Definitely finding a nicer place to stay when we come for a WF football game. Not worth the price.
Large rooms, nice location right downtown. Very dated decor. Clean bathroom but something about the carpet made the room feel less than clean.
