I came into the front interest and walked directly to the front cashiers and asked where I needed to return some articles of clothing. I was directed to the cashier near the back right entrance. i then waited in line for over 15 minutes and then when asked about my return. My items where holiday gifts from a parent that I was attempting to exchange - I did not have a bag but had tags in hand. The cashier asked if I spoke with anyone when I entered the store. I said yes and she and the manager decided to ask the employee I spoke with. The employee I spoke to earlier and another one that was standing beside them both denied speaking or even seeing me. When I asked to speak with the manager the cashier said not to as the manager glared at me behind her. I informed them of why I was exchanging the clothing and to check their security videos to ensure I was not shop lifting. the cashier attempted to make an exchange but the system zeroed out the items identifying them as being purchased prior on a deep discount. No worries, my parents are frugal shoppers I just want to exchange the items for something else. I was denied. I have worked in retail for over 8 years and have never seen such poor service. This will be the last time I shop at Stein Mart.
If you have kids dont bring them. They will get super board but it has okay cloths
Never have any size less than 6!!!! Not fair to us petites!!! Small size sweaters are HUGE!!!! Not everyone is a large!!!!!!!!!!!
