Love my Craftsman tools, hate that Sears has totally screwed them up.
Bought a Groupon for an oil change and called to schedule an appointment and decided I would also get my car inspection which was due. The person who answers their phones was rude and not very helpful. My appt was for 2:00 pm and when I arrived I had no idea where to go and no one was helpful. At 2:30 I asked when someone would START with my vehicle. I was told the inspector was on lunch. When I asked why they would schedule an appointment when the person was on lunch I was given the answer that they didn't know when he was going to take lunch. I then asked why no one was doing the oil change I was told they were too busy and the inspector would do that which makes no sense as I had originally scheduled an appt for just the oil change. Do not waste your time or money.

I only shop at Sears in the tool department for Craftsman tools so this is for that department. Craftsman tools come with a Lifetime Warranty. Tool breaks, bring it back in to the store and they replace free of charge for life. Have a broken 6" 1/4" slotted screwdriver that needs to be replaced. Simple enough you would think, take it in and get a new screwdriver.....nope. Go into the store, no screwdriver whatsoever in stock. Was told to come back the next week. called, four other Sears and same answer, they don't have it. Go back in today, guess what, they have it but it is in a packaged set and they wont break open the set. I ask them when they will get in the individual ones and they say, don't know, its been like this for three months. I said, this has a Lifetime warranty and your not honoring it, and they comment was the supplier hasn't sent them any. So I ask them when the order will come in and they said they don't know and started walking away. Classy Sears.
Wish I could give them 0 or half a star. They have horrible timing and service. Whenever I go there it takes them about 20-30 minutes to ring up a purchase of literally 2-5 items. One of the workers was rude. In total this store earns thousands a day there cashier computers are slow and never work they have had them for probably 10 years now. This store would honestly be a waste of your time. We had 4 workers up front because literally people who had worked here maybe 2-3 years didn’t know how to do there jobs correctly 1 of them was new which I totally get but the others three should have been good at there job. These workers need to go through training. Not only to learn the skills but also how to treat a client. Never once said anything rude to them to be treated this way. Have been to others sears which have great workers and service. Folks some advice just don’t waste your time here.
I purchased a gas stove from Sears in Jan. The clear coat has come off the top of the stove twice. The repairman has failed to keep the scheduled service repair 2 times. The new stove top is sitting in my dining room. This means I have taken 4 vacation days trying to get the stove repaired and still waiting. Never again will I buy anything from Sears.
