A month ago for the first time I had microblading done $500 by Michele Day spa. I should have not went thru with it when I asked her if I could record some of the procedure and she said no. Now if your good at what you do and ain't got nothing to hide I don't see anything wrong with recording. Anyway, I was told it would not hurt and that she'll apply some topical numbing medicine. Let me tell you it hurt like hell! Whatever numbing medicine she uses does not work and my first time was excruciating!
Fast forward 30 days, on 11/8/17 I went back for my follow up. I did not know what to expect and she did not tell me so I had to ask. $50 for the follow up. I get there and once again basically she's doing my brows over again. She applied the topical numbing med and STILL it did not numb anything! It was like someone slowing cutting you with a knife! Agonizing, excruciating, tear crying PAIN! I got thru it. While there I asked if I could get the dermaplaning done. She said yes. While waiting on my brows to numb she began the dermaplaning. No pain with it but while she was doing it she got to close to my hair line and literally and not only gave me a bad shape up (not what I wanted nor asked for) she almost cut off my hair/dread locs!! On top of that she cut my face with the blade.
After confronting her about it all she could say is that it's about the money. It was never about the money! If it was I would have never gotten the service! I am now embarrassed to pull my hair back and I'm hoping some how I'll be able to keep the locs that's literally hanging by a string of hair! Then at the end she noticed some spots where she missed and literally started jabbing my brow with the blade. I left pics up on Google maps. You can see at the end of my brow are now sores scabbed on both brows. Not the normal peeling you get from microblading.
Had eyelash extensions at this spa and was very disappointed. The eyelashes are all clumped together because of the excessive amount of glue used. I even have glue on my eyelids. She did not use individual lashes but the cheaper cluster lashes and after five days they are starting to snap off. The owner was only interested in selling cosmetic products and did a very bad job. The lashes look awful.
Michelle is always very pleasant and provides an awesome environment. She makes you feel at ease and does a great job. I drive an hour to her salon for services. Well worth it.
I have gone to Michele's for spa services including waxing, brow tinting, Shellac nails, body wraps, eyelash extensions, facials, and pedicures. I cannot say enough about her professionalism and expertise! When you walk into this elegant spa, you immediately feel relaxed and peaceful. I have always loved that Michele displays her many many certificates and licenses. She is extremely well educated and talented. I honestly cannot pick a favorite service but I can say that I have lost pounds and inches with her detox body wraps. I also love her brow and eyelash work. I have had the pleasure of enjoying Michele's spa since the first day that she opened in this location. I recently moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in CA and miss her and her fabulous spa so very much. She is excellent. Do not hesitate and do not be turned off by those other reviews! I am not sure what they were expecting but Michele is the best! I have not found anyone out here who can beat her level of service.
This lady needs to be shut down! I will find a way to post pics of what she did to me. I am still considering speaking with an attorney.
I will never ever go back to her and most definitely do not recommend! I will try to post my pics on Google maps at her location.

They are out of this world!!! They have lasted without any refills for over 5 weeks. I was overseas, and I received many compliments on my eyes. They don't look fake at all. She has a new system, that can be found all over Europe. Michele always looks for improvement and is the sweetest and most knowledgeable person in her field. Her walls have a display of all her diplomas. I highly recommend all of her services. She is the best! She made me feel beautiful and rejuvenated!!!!
