Let me begin my saying I typically LOVE Olive Garden and have dined at many locations across the country.
JR & I just left this restaurant & we had good service! The food as always was delicious. I had Shrimp Scampi & my hubby had the spaghetti w/meat sauce. Another great salad with their awesome bread sticks❣️No room for their Pumpkin Cheesecake
The food was OK, but quite pricey in my opinion. The service was pretty good, but I was never even asked if I wanted a drink refill? 8 would not recommend it to a friend.
Recently, my experiences at the Winston-Salem location have not only been unsatisfactory, but completely a waste of my time and money. Two weeks ago, we dined there on a Wednesday evening around 5:00pm because we were heading to a movie @7:15. Our waitress was terrible. Brought our drinks AFTER our salad/soup and entree's we're delivered to the table. We asked three times about our beverages. My husband's entree was served with no Alfredo sauce, so about 20 mins later, she brought the sauce in a cup instead of bringing him a new plate of food, though he had not touched his original plate. Today, we gave them another try. Bad decision. For lunch, we ordered entree's, soup, salad and an appetizer... Our bill exceeded $55.00 for lunch. The appetizer showed up AFTER our entree's and it was cold. The waitress was unattentive and unprofessional. We will not go back. There are too many other dining options in Winston-Salem. Will not spend another dollar at this Olive Garden location.

I called in the morning to make a reservation and the lady on the phone told me that they won’t be busy and can fit us in easily. I had no problem with that but when we walked in a 5:15 there was a 30 minute wait. The food and service here is usually very good but I’m disappointed that we had to wait after I called to make sure we didn’t have too. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I work a few miles from this place, and have occasionally stopped by for a quick bite around lunch time. Normally service is about a '3-stars' rate, while the food is '4-stars'. I wish I could say the same for today. Walked in with a few coworkers, and made a friendly comment about the amount of people there. When I was informed the wait would be too much for my hour-long break, I thanked them and stepped aside to discuss other lunch options. Not two steps in the other direction and one of the two hostesses LOUDLY remarks about what my expectations should be the week before Christmas. I was able to go just down the road and find someone to accommodate this, and I hope you will too. I will be avoiding this place for the unforeseeable future. I don't believe this place will be hurting about missing my business, but if they don't want it, I'm sure another place would.
