Hope it was with $2 to be rude and not just say sorry.
She got back on the phone and said I had to wait until the driver got back to check and see if I really had ordered a soda. All I wanted was an "oops, sorry! We overlooked it!" I don't want someone to waste gas or time about a soda. I don't care about that. I care about the fact that the driver told me to call the restaurant to let them know, she said she needed to be sure i ordered a soda and i asked if she thought i was calling to lie about a soda. She hung up on me.
However they forgot my son's drink and my son went back out to tell the driver and he made my son go through the order 'to be sure'...it wasn't. Not a big deal but the driver said sorry just call the restaurant. When I did the woman kept the phone near her mouth and was yelling to people in the kitchen, "Did you forget a soda? Did you forget a soda?" Into my ear!
They seem to have some issues, but they aren't taking it out on customers and most things look good. I won't be back to try them, however.
I waited two hours for a pizza delivery today after the representative seemed to not be paying attention to my order, thinking it was carry out. While I can understand a clerk making a mistake, what I don't like is that they turned around and then sent the food that had turned cold and stiff. They should have sent something fresh or at least heated the thing up.
Also their staff is really a mixed bag. I've spoken too one of two very kind, personal representatives. However, more of them are flippant, and disinterested, not greeting customers or offering a word of thanks for a tip.
Very friendly staff and delicious food! They have good selection of wine and beer as well. I would definitely recommend coming here.
If this happens again I will not come back.
Sending delivery is nice, sending a vegetarian chicken isn't. Gave it another shot, in the restaurant this time, and it wasn't good for me. The pasta looked good and the pizza look great, but it was an extremely long wait for my eggplant that didn't look like it had been made that day and sat far too long under a warmer. The breading was mush, the cheese was hard, the sauce was split, etc. They took it back with no complaints and took it off my ticket with no effort.
The restaurant looks very pleasant inside and the service is excellent. Frequent refills. Food was fast and delicious. The freshly baked bread is served warm and complements the pasta well. Wide meal selection, from pizza to chicken wings and french fries to pasta. This is the place for everyone.
The pizza tasted just okay, it did not seem as rich as normal-- more of the vegetables and fruits had a bland, frozen taste and it was not cut into slices. It looks like they were just being really lazy with this one.
Been coming here for YEARS. Always good food...sometimes better than others. Fluctuates over the years with the kitchen. The service is always odd. Today we ordered on-line, paid a delivery fee, tipped 20%, and the driver arrived in an hour. So far so good.
Their pizzas are usually very good. Easily they are the best if you want a delivery pizza, they taste handmade, come in bigger sizes and have more variety of ingredients than say Papa John's, Domino's or Pizza Hut for the same price. However, their other Italian dishes like their pastas and eggplant Parmesan aren't as memorable, and can get greasy.
Recap: frequent customer, good tipper (never less than 20% because that is only decent despite always iffy service), treated like I was trying to swindle them for a $2 soda (by both the driver and yelling and rude woman on phone) so I am leaving a bad review. I never leave bad reviews because you should verbalize a problem and not publicize without trying to work it out. When you hang up without an apology, that does not get to happen.
