As far as DMV experiences go, these folks were so polite and clearly explained what I needed in order to get my car plated in North Carolina when I relocated here.
I'm went to this DMV to get a "real ID" and they're working very hard to improve their reputation. There was a worker at the door to greet people with a smile and direct them where they need to go. When I got my documents checked in, she wrote a smiley face on my numbered wait ticket. Everyone who passed me said hello. When the worker saw on my birth certificate it was my birthday this week, he wished me happy birthday. I went at 10am on a Wednesday and I waited only a few minutes to be seen.
This location should be closed down and EVERY employee in that building should be fired and not be eligible to work for the state of NC again nor should they be eligible to receive unemployment. They are the rudest and most disrespectful bunch of women I have ever seen in my life, even down to the old lady. They are so rude and nasty, I have personally witnessed them pick up the phone and hang it back up just so it will stop ringing. I mean really, do your job this is what you applied for and were hired to do. If I could give them a -5 stars I would, that is how bad this particular office is. I have started going to the Kernersville location, they are much nicer, professional and helpful.
Women there are racist and disrespectful. At least they get the job done right. But customer service could be better.
Its the DMV, what do you expect? Most experiences have been fairly OK but if you end up in the old ladys line you are screwed, she is extra unhelpful and clueless. She once agued with me they didnt give temporary tags.(I already had a temporary tag, and was trying to get a real one).
