My experience has always been great when visiting Robinhood integrative. Everyone is always professional and friendly.
After I met with Kelly, who seemed to be on the path to helping me with my health concerns, the staff informed me that my insurance had changed and would no longer be accepted (when I made the appointment, I was assured that I would be covered, and at the time of my appointment I wasn't even aware of the change yet. The staff learned of the change before I did on the same day of my appointment.) Not faulting the practice for this, I made arrangements to pay out of pocket for the appointment and saved for the next one. When my card was run the day before my next appointment for the patient portal, I called to negotiate a refund to opt out of the portal in order to make my appointment. The staff was unrelenting, even implying that I was stupid for not knowing that my insurance wasn't accepted. They claimed they had signs up, but that wasn't the case when I went in, or I was unaware that they applied to my *new* coverage. They also said that I would be charged a no-show fee because I had given 21 hours notice instead of 24 (I had called as soon as I'd realized the $60 had been charged at 9:00 the morning prior to my 10:00 appointment and had received no answer. By the time I got through, it was 12:00 or 1:00 on the day before my scheduled visit.) If I had just received a refund for $60/not been charged a late fee, there would absolutely be no issue, but for a practice that purports to be so interested in people, it seems the interest is only in money. There is no real compassion, no heart, no flexibility or individual care from the staff, and I'm really disappointed that a lack of empathy, and rude customer service has put my treatment on hold and cost my family a lot more than money.
Gosh, after reading the many reviews here and the responses from the owner, I am even more disheartened about the way this business is run. Of course you're able to "out policy" every new patient who has been signing much paperwork upon admission. Of course there are things that are missed. And, truth be told, had I not been treated so rudely by Beth, none of this would be an issue. After a very kind call by Chase who listened and empathized, I'd started to rethink the negative review I'd left (I'm not one to leave negative posts), but after reading responses from the owner and realizing there's never an, "I'm so sorry there was a miscommunication," or "we would never want to make any one of our patients feel the way you felt," I'm unfortunately convinced that this egotistical environment is more toxic than helpful. And, I did make the choice to not be treated poorly, but I will absolutely stay on top of my heath, as I've been proactive in so doing for years.
Outstanding! The entire team is amazing! Dr. Lantelme has been the only doctor to get my thyroid under control for the past five years! The entire team takes great care of everyone who walks through the door and I highly recommend this practice. Not only do they find alternative ways to make you healthier but everything you need is easily access through their on site store!
