I travel quite a bit for work and rent cars all the time from Enterprise. I can only think of 2 instances where I had problems, but they were quickly resolved. I always have a good experience with the customer service.

I have a daughter that will be graduating from basic training in the Army an with the expenses of flying with a large family my wife and I chose to rent a car through Enterprise from Stratford in Winston Salem NC as we have heard and read many great reviews about this location. As I was driving home from work one evening I made a call to find out details of renting and options and they did so help me with this, as well directing me to someone to take my information in reserving a vehicle that would fit us. At this point, everyone was very helpful and friendly. After I asked for payment (noting to the representative it was a visa debit card) I now have a rental for my family and me to travel to see my daughter graduate from basic training and bring her home for the holidays for 10 days until she leaves for her remaining 4yr of active duty. Ok, this is where my rating drops. I called today 12-11-17 to adjust the days I need the vehicle I reserved two weeks ago to work better for us and the person there told me I can not rent you this vehicle because of the visa debit card but he can put me in a minivan...I ask why no one mentioned this to me during reservation with no reply and stated if I wanted to drive a minivan I would drive our minivan instead. Thank you Enterprise for not telling me this sooner and less than a week before my soldier comes home for the holidays.
Had to rent a car while mine is in the shop. They had a vehicle available and was in and out quickly. It was professional and courteous.
The Enterprise staff is great at the Stratford Rd location. The issue (which I suspect is systemic), is when one reserves a vehicle online for a certain price per day, it often increases when standing at the reserve counter to pick up the vehicle. No mention of or explanation for the increased cost per day - they just slide it in there. Credibility sinks fast when business is conducted this way.
