Best comic book store in the Triad area. Ssalefish has a large selection of new comics from Marvel, DC, Image, Valiant, Aftershock, just about any publisher. You can always find what you're looking for no matter how obscure. The back issue collection is very well organized and also carrys nearly any title you could hope to find. Ssalefish offers the best graphic novel selction I've every found in a retal store. The staff is always friendly and happy to help you find what you're looking for. I keep a new comic subscription box at Salefish and the manager, Daniel, has turn me on to new books based on the book I already like. I couldn't ask for a better hometown comic book store.
I love this store! Whenever we are visiting relatives in North Carolina, we make sure to stop here. It's a must! The selection is great, and the store is very well organized. There is something for everyone, and I have found the staff very helpful and knowledgable when choosing things for my children. They have made great recommendations. No other comic book store can compare.
I go here to get Comics anyway but the staff is extremely rude. the past every time I've went in with my family they have never greeted us. they act like we aren't there, our questions are inconvenient, and all we are walking in is dollar signs. I believe if you know the people that run the store you're fine but if you don't know them and you're going in to buy comics they're not going to treat you good. if they would stop hiring pompous jerks and actually hire cool people the place would be a lot better. just an opinion.
Far and away the best comic/collectibles store in the area. I have been shopping here for over five years. The staff and owner always treat me and my family like gold. Huge back issue section and they always have the current books laid out in a clear easy to get to way. Awesome store.
