Amy Bofenkamp, remember that name. Great technique, her deep tissue was exactly the "style" I needed at that moment. She listened to what my issues where and addressed them, and spent the right amount of time on each one. I highly recommend that you book with her!
I can't complain about the massages here. They were great. They do try to sell you on a monthly package which gets you massages cheaper, but I'm not much on subscriptions.
They had taken a monthly alotment from my wife for me. I was not able to make it for several months. They did not honor the several months I had paid for.
I do not recommend a membership. Their corporate policies are rigid and not built with the customer in mind. I built up 17 sessions and wasn't allowed to gift them to others as I pleased. There were so many rules, I cancelled my membership (after I used all my sessions of course)!
had a pretty good massage at massage envy and had planned on rescheduling, but I am unhappy with their cancellation policy. The facials I really enjoy with Amber or Amand and Jennifer is good as well at the WS NC location. The prices of the facial cleansers are 65.00 WOW!!! They will bill you the entire amount of your appointment if you do not call to cancel. If you call, but do not give a 24 hour notice they will bill you a fee for the service you were receiving. So you may end up with a huge fee if you do not make your appointment. I understand that if an appointment that is reserved is cancelled they will be unable to rebook for that time slot. Although, things happen and people can't always make appointments. They will charge you this fee--they are not bluffing so you better hope that you never have to miss an appointment at the last minute. Their membership which they heavily push is also difficult to cancel. When I am going for rest and relaxation I don't want to be stressed about any difficult policies or pressured to join some membership. The massages are NOT worth it and I plan on never using their services in the extent of being a member and will go see an individual massage therapist or an actual spa that is more caring and willing to work with people like Tranquility or Allure. I unfortunately miss Mr. Bill. He had been practicing for many years and ws grandfathered into massage envys strategic goal of which I see isn't working for a many of people. The pricing is awful. Service is good with friendly faces. Otherwise lots of competitors out there who care. When my membership is over I will not be bound again....pay as you go method for me.
