Without any doubt, Scott is a person with impeccable integrity and a person who possesses a high level of professional expertise in automotive paint and body work. I am an architect in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and I have owned over fifty older model cars in my life. My nature is to distrust people in the automotive repair business due to the many expensive mistakes I have made over the years. In general I have dealt with primarily three types of automotive repair people. First, there were those who were basically thieves who were out to rip people off and secondly, there were those who were honest but who did not understand my car and basically cost me lots of money with trial and error repairs and third, there are professionals like Scott and his company who are experts in their work and who are honest and reasonable. Over the years, I have found it much less expensive to pay a fair price for honest and expert work than to waste time and money on other options. To add icing on the cake, The Paint Shop is located next to a general automotive repair shop, Performance Automotive Services that is also run by an expert honest mechanic, Mark Hulcher. Recently, Scott repaired a difficult part of my Mercedes suspension where it connected to my cars’ body and Mark performed a four wheel alignment to wrap up the job. I am so pleased to have met Scott and Mark and to know that I have a place to take my cars in the future!
The interesting thing is all the attention to small paint details and body work. They went above and beyond our expectations. It's great to find a business that really takes care of customers and does quality work.

This isn't the first time I've restored/painted an older British car & with OTHERS I had difficulties. From past experiences, I finally learned the hard way that there are no 'deals' & don't try to do shortcuts.
The Paint Shop is the place you take your hot rod or classic car for a special paint job. I felt silly asking them to paint our 2000 Taurus. Scott and his crew took the car right away and did a fantastic job. The car looks like new and we could not be happier with the work.
