A wonderful place to visit and learn about history. The only downside is tours can be a bit pricey. Maps cost money too. But this sign (past the covered bridge) has a free map. You can go into many of the shops, such as the gift shops and bakery, for free as well.

Wonderful place to immerse yourself in rich Salem History, loved the Salem Tavern Museum where George Washington lodged for two nights

Nice place to get a small taste of how living was in the 1780's
