Not sure why all the negative reviews about an "old lady yelling" a lot. My stepson went recently for a second grade field trip and he loved it. He couldn't stop talking about how cool the place was. In fact, I only Googled the place because he brought it up again this morning. When I saw the reviews and asked him if there was a mean old lady yelling at him, he seemed genuinely confused and said, "No, there was just the nice lady that ran the place."

Terrible. We went there for a field trip, and not to mention it was HOT in there.. But anyway we sit down to see a old woman (Mama Blue??) Ask a kid if they were a girl or boy. That embarrassed him, and then started saying we were not good enough to be a football player, game creator, coder or anything.. Then she forced us to do a play about pirates or something and got mad if we forgot our lines, because we learned them for 5 minutes. She also had a time out corner with badly knitten quilts, and made us make bag puppets with no color. She also said we wouldnt pass Driver's Ed (?????) And called us babies. This woman looked about 80. We didn't learn anything, and nobody liked it. I usually like field trips but I felt like just losing it when she talked. I am not influenced by the weather, how I get treated at home, etc. Now I know I won't pass drivers Ed, though! Thanks, Mama Blue for your help and compassion, and I usually like field trips. So many fake reviews, and this costs us 11$. Didnt feed us for six hours.thank you for reading, and avoid this place at all costs. You will wish you had listened to me if you do! Mama Blue, STOP YELLING. All of the kids hate you!! EDIT: She also said we should be lawyers. I'm sorry if you have to go. I was STARVING for 6 hours!! She also didnt let us ask questions or use the bathroom. I felt like I was a prisoner!! Ugh.. o~o

Granny Blue and staff have been making memorable school field trips for many years.

The field trip was in late september or early november and they told us to take off our jackets inside (Which i was fine with because it was warm inside) and proceeded to bring my group outside ( Which stunk)All my classmates thought it was bad AND they had the nerve to call us the worst school they have ever had. The teachers even said some of us wouldnt go to our next field trip and the heritage theater was fine.

I went on a couple of field trips here when I was younger and even though I love history, I never enjoyed it. I don't remember much from my own experience, just that I didn't enjoy it.

Don't go on a field trip here.

If I could I would rate it 0 stars.I had a similar problem as a few other people. An old lady yelling at us and telling us we shouldn't follow our dreams and be lawyers instead of being a game creator ,football player, etc. I was in 4th grade at the time of the field trip. I'm in fifth grade now.

My little brother is in third grade and he went on a field trip here. He's reliable and smart for someone his age, so I can trust what he told me.

He said that the woman there yelled at the kids for almost the whole time they were there, (about 2 hours) said they weren't "good citizens" if they didn't know how many kids their lunch lady had and if they didn't make their own food at home (these are 8 and 9 year olds). She discouraged them from following their dreams which is honestly a TERRIBLE thing to say to a kid. You should not tell a child that their dreams are impossible and they should be a lawyer instead. She also said they shouldn't yawn in public. Among other things. She also yelled at the kids multiple times because they raised their hands to ask questions. Field trips are meant to be learning environments. Kids are SUPPOSED to be curious and they are MEANT to ask questions. And telling a kid off for something that is positive and normal and that they should be doing is really just a horrible thing to do. People that treat kids this way should be ashamed of themselves.

Quick Edit: They threatened we would get in trouble if we told our parents.
