I am SO excited we have Lidl in Winston now. AND we have 2!!! Great prices and an amazing selection. This is the only grocery store I go to now. Bring your own bags, but you can buy some there. You do not need a quarter to use the carts. The "Lidl Surprises" section changes every week and has deals I can't believe. Leading up to Christmas I bought all my kids gifts there and saved SO much!

Great place. Heard about it on the radio and it blew my mind. It's so clean and the people, both consumer and employee, are nice and all neighborhood-y. It's nice, for a change. Walmart doesn't have that feel. And the prices were incredible. Diapers for less than $4??? Yup. That alone is worth the trip. Also, when you park your car, check out the landscaping. It's beautiful.
The bakery is excellent! Fresh flaky croissants. The apple turnover is wonderful as well. Good prices, not a wide selection of vegetables but great place for fruit, cheeses, dairy, n wine. They also have other household items, i bought a pair of sneakers there for $20 that are actually very comfortable. Bring your own bags though, they charge for bags.
I have been really impressed with Lidl. The meat has been very good. I also enjoying items from the bakery such as the croissants and cookies. My family has been saving a lot of money since we've been shopping here regularly. Their produce has been great and I would recommend when they have items on sale to check them out.
